Chaser

Inspired by wipeout, the book Jason Chaser Hovercar Racer and the aesthetics of grassroots racing. I wanted to explore a hovercar that handles like a real car.

Controls:
Left stick: steering
RT: accelerate
LT: braking
R/L shoulders: lateral boosters

Ideas implemented:
- Low drag gives a floating feeling similar to drifting.
- Turning while braking (quite dramatically) reduces turn speed, taken from racing today.
- Left/Right Shoulder buttons power lateral thrusters acting on the vehicle's centre of mass to give tighter turning.
